Admission Criteria
(a) Admissions into several PG and PG diploma courses in the College of Arts & Commerce, College of Science & Technology and PG centres are based on ranks obtained in a common entrance test called SKUCET conducted by Andhra University, while admissions into MBA and MCA courses are made on the basis of common entrance test (ICET) conducted by Government of A.P.
In certain diploma courses, where the ratio of applicants to available seats is less than 2:1, the admissions are made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
(b) UG courses : College of Engineering (B.Arch./B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.) : The Government of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) conducts a common entrance test, called EAMCET, for admission into all Colleges of Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine in A.P.,and for seats earmarked for A.P. in Regional Engineering Colleges. The Convener EAMCET also provides counselling for those qualified at the EAMCET, and allots the College and Branch of study based on the ranks.
S.K.U. Engineering College has been the first choice of the candidates of local category of Sri Krishnadevaraya University area.
(c) UG course : College of Law (LLB.) : Admissions are based on the ranks obtained in the Common entrance test LAWCET, conducted by Govt. of A.P. for all Colleges of Law in A.P. The College of Law, Sri Krishnadevaraya University has been the first choice for local candidates of S.K.U.(d) PG courses : College of Engineering (M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm.) : Based on the GATE percentile and the rank obtained in the entrance test in the respective subjects conducted by S.K..U.
(e) PG courses : (M.Phil.,/Ph.D.,.) : Based on the GATE percentile and the rank obtained in the entrance test in the respective subjects conducted by S.K..U. and Research set conducted by S.K.U.
