Departement of Law Year of Establishment of Department :  1973-1974 History of the Department :                 The Department was started in S.V.University in the year 1970.  Later, it was shifted to the Anantapur P.G.centre in 1973-74.  Only  B.L. course was offered and the classes were conducted in the Arts College Building in the Town.  From 1976-77, classes were conducted at the university Campus.  The Department was allotted an exclusive building in 1982.   M.L. (Constitutional Law ) and the M.L. (Criminal Law) Degree programmes were started in 1985 and 1994 to meet the growing regional requirements.
