Prof. D. Sarala kumari obtained her doctoral degree in biochemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. In 1985 she joined as Assistant Professor.
She promoted to Professor in 2003 and served as Head and BOS, Department of
Biochemistry. She has published 16 papers in national and international journals.
Cumulative impact of journals for her publications so far is 15 and the number
of citations of her publications is 109. She has completed two UGC major
research projects. Her field of Major Research is in Clinical Biochemistry- Flurosis,
Diabetes.

Dr. G. Vidya Sagar Reddy entered the University service in the Department of Adult,
Continuing Education and Extension in 1990 and promoted as Associate Professor in
December 2007. He published ten research papers in reputed journals, participated
and presented papers in seven national and regional Sminars sponsored by UGC and
Government of Andhra Pradesh. He also attended three refresher courses and one
orientation programme. Currently, two candidates Scholars for Ph.D programme and
one for M.Phil degree are working under his guidance. One of his research scholars
has been sanctioned Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship in 2007. He is also a member, Board of
Studies in Adult Education, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. Dr. Reddy is a life
member in professional bodies like All India Council for Mass Education and
Development, Andhra Pradesh Sociological Society. He is also actively associated with
ZSS and District Adult Education Department and honourable consultant to a few N.
G.O.s in the district. Dr. Reddy has also been actively participating in various literacy
prpogrammes and socially relevant activities like International Literacy Day
Celebrations, Women’s Day Celebrations etc., and well acquainted himself with
social, educational and economic conditions that are causing for child labour, low
literacy and high rate of drop-outs especially in backward areas

Prof. N.Ch.Varadacharyulu joined the faculty of Biochemistry, Sri Krishnadevaraya
University, as an Assistant Professor in 1989. He was a recipient of DBT National
Associate ship award and availed at Poona University, Pune. He was promoted as
Associate Professor in 1998 and then elevated as Professor in 2006. He has 18
research papers in journals of international reput with high impact factor and
papers have good citation index of 120, completed one UGC major research
project and organized one national symposium. Served as NSS programme officer,
teachers association (SKUTA) president currently acting as secretary, APFUTA
(Teacher’s Association) and Major research interests: Membrane Biochemistry,
Alcoholism, Toxicology

Prof. Chitta Suresh Kumar joined as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry on February
1989 and promoted as Professor in 2006. Dr. Suresh has attracted large amount of
financial support for establishing research facility in the area of Transgenic Plants,
Bioinformatics, Structural Biology and Drug design, from agencies such as UGC, DBT,
AICTE, DST. Dr. Suresh is recipient of DBT National Associateship, AICTE Career
Award in Biotechnology, DST-SERC visiting fellowship etc., to organize Post-Doctoral
research at IISc, IICT, CCMB, JNU various national institutes. He has completed
5 Major Research Projects and presently operating 2 projects (UGC and DBT). Under
extension out reach activity Dr. Suresh has developed the agro-cultivation practices
for Medicinal Plants in Rayalaseema region. Dr. Suresh has organized 7 national
workshops/seminars in the field of Bioinformatics sponsored by DBT, DST, ICMR,
CSIR, APSCHE and UGC. He has published 16 papers in International journals IJM
(USA), I J Genome. Proteom, Bioinformation, etc., Presently he is Coordinator for DBT
facility for Bioinformatics Infrastructure facility (www.bic-sku.org) to cater the needs
of students, scholars and faculty in Bioinformatics and Drug Design. Dr. Suresh is
founder of University College of Pharmacy offering M. Pharmacy course from the
year 2008. Dr. Suresh has been elected as Fellow of Association of Biotechnology & Pharmacy-2008.
