Dr. R. sreenivasulu is senior professor in Department of Chemistry, S.K.University College, Anantapur, and Specialized in Inorganic /Analytical Chemistry. He has 32 years of teaching experience at post-graduate level and 36 years of research experience. Area of Research interest is "Synthesis and characterization of metal complexes and their analysis through electro analytical techniques". No of Ph.D's produced:06 and No of M.Phil produced:14. About 40 research papers have been published in reputed national and interenational seminars and Symposium. He has successfully completed 1.1 Crores interdisciplinary major research project on "Air Space Pollutants and Environment" funded by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

Born in the year 1953. Obtained M.Sc degree in Physical chemistry in the year 1974 from S.V University, Tirupathi. Joined as lecturer in S.V.U P.G Centre in the year \1979. Obtained PhD degree in the year 1984 form S.K University . Became professor in the year 1993. The research areas of interest : chemical kinetics, spectrophotometric analysis of inorganic and organic materials by using newly synthesized organic reagents as complexing agents . The classes of organic reagents employed are oximes, thiosemicarbazones, hydrazones and isonicotinylhydrozones-synthesis characterization of metal complexes and the study of their biological activity. Published nearly “45” papers in various journals of national and international repute. Life member of “Indian Association of Nuclear and Allied scientists”(IANCAS) Attended several national and international conferences

Prof. V. Suruyanarayana Rao, M.Sc, Ph.D
Dr. V.Suryanarayana Rao has his post graduation from S.V.University, Tirupathi. Later he did his Ph.D programme from erstwhile SVU PG Centre, Anantapur. He specialized in physical chemistry and his research fields are electrochemistry and Analytical chemistry. He has a teaching experience of 29 years and 18 students got Ph.D's and 9 students got M.Phils under his guidance. He has published 45 research articles in various journals. Dr Rao handled one UGC, one CSIR and on DAE research project. He has conducted a seminar on Drug Abuse in India sponsored by UGC. He also conducted a workshop on "Science communication in Telugu sponsored by DST.Prof.Rao visitede Germany as DAAD fellow for post Doctoral work, He has authored a book Paleography and allied techniques published by Orient-Longman, NewDelhi. Another book entitled an advanced treatise an Physical Chemistry is in press to be published by Prentice-Hall India Ltd. In February2007, he has conducted Carrier Awareness and Recruitment Drive (CARD) programme sponsored by APSCHE, Hyderabad and about 200 candidates got placements in various organizations

Prof. K. HUSSAIN REDDY M.Sc., Ph.D
Dr. K. Hussain Reddy obtained his M.Sc Degree from Sri venkateswara University, Tirupati. He started his
research as CSIR JRF under the guidance of Prof. D. Venkata Reddy. He obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D degree
in Chemistry from S. K. University, Anatapur in 1982 and 1984 respectively. Dr. Reddy’s fields of teaching and
research interests includes, Bioinorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry, Bio-coordination Chemistry,
Spectroscopy, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Chemistry of Polymeric Materials. He has 24
years of post-graduate teaching experience. Thirteen students got Ph.D under his supervision. He has also
guided seven M.Phil., students. Dr. Reddy published 106 research papers and two review articles in
internationally reputed research journals. He has presented a paper in International symposium on Macrocyclic
Chemistry helad at Tutle Bay, Hawaiii, USA in the year1988. He has also presented about 50 papers in National
Seminars/Symposia/Conferences. He has completed three major research projects one each sponsored by
DST, CSIR and UGC, New Delhi and has one on-going DST Major research project. He did his postdoctoralresearch
in the University of California, San Diego, USA during 1989-90 under study abroad fellowship
sponsored by HRD-Government of India. He has authored a book entitled “Bioinorganic Chemistry” (2003)
published by New Age International (Pvt. Limited New Delhi. He is life member in several academic and
research organizations such as Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Chemical Society, Calcutta, Indian
Council of Chemists, Agra and National Magnetic Resonance Society, Bangalore. He is Best teacher Awardee
of Government of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2007. At present he is working as Head of the Department of

Prof. G. NARAYANA SWAMY, M.Sc., Ph.D.
He obtained M.Sc and Ph.D from S.V University. He has 4 years of undergraduate and 25 years of
PG teaching experience and 32 years of research experience. Prof.Swamy’s fields of teaching
include organic and medicinal chemistry. His fields of research interests include Thermodynamics,
Electro chemistry andorganic synthesis. He has published 30 papers in international and national
journals. Eight students obtained their Ph.D under his supervision. He has completed two UGC
major projects and has one ongoing UGC project and is a resource person of organic chemistry for
refresher courses of academic staff colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
