Held positions as Head, Chairman Board of Studies and Dean of Faculty at S.K University with 26
years of teaching and research experience at PG level. Produced 6 Ph.Ds and 16 M.Phils and
presently guiding another 7 scholars. He is the author of 4 books in the area of Foreign Trade
and Tourism and published 80 research articles in various magazines and economic dailies that
include Indian Labour Review, Economic Times, Business Standard, Capital, Eastern Economist ,
Indian Journal of Marketing, East European Trade, Welfare Economist, The Banker, Yojana, Indian
Banking Today & Tomorrow, Lok Udyog, Research Digest(ICWAI), Modern Management, Facts for
You, Commerce, Indian Express, etc. Conducted 15 national and regional level
conferences/seminars in the areas of consumerism and attended nearly 60 academic seminars.
Selected by UGC to visit Egypt and delivered lectures at 9 universities in Cairo (’96). Worked as
Professor of Delivery Administration and Head (CII) at HRD Institute of Govt. of A.P. Trained more
than 8000 officers of our State Admin by conducting 100 workshops relating to policy
implementation in the areas of Agriculture, Welfare, Micro Finance, Human Development and
Rural Livelihood Initiatives.(2004 to 2006). As Former Director, AP Study Circle, Govt. of A.P. for 7
years at Hyd. – guided a number of all India Civi Service and State Service officers and helped A.
P.Govt. Welfare Dept. in shaping the career programmes for youth in respect of their future and
organized Career Yojana and Career Mela for students (1997 to June 2004). Member of various
social and cultural organizations – worked as: Lok Adalat Member, President of Rotary
International, Secretary of Public Relations Society of India, General Secretary of A. P. Consumer
Organisations, Nodal Officer for Janmabhoomi at Hyderabad, Member of Screening Committee
for obscene movies; Secretary, Green Society, Anantapur Member of Disciplinary Committee at
SK University and Secretary, Public Relations Society of India and President, Rotary International at
Anantapur. Editorial Experience: Worked as Editor for ‘Consumer Crusade’, Founder of ‘Viniyoga
Darsini’ meant for consumer awareness. Received special honours and awards from Government
and various cultural bodies for the services rendered in the field of education and consumerism.
Guided 6 doctoral and 10 M.Phil works in the area of Commerce & Trade. Launched Faculty to
Society Programme through University to protect the interest of the consumers as part of the
consumer movement in the country and received Republic Day award given by the dist
administration. State Level award was received for participation in consumer movement by the
then Home Minister in 1996. Received Priyadarsini Indira Gandhi Award for distinguished services
to the society during 2008.

Prof.B. PHANISWARA RAJU is a gold medalist in M.Com (1978) from S.V.U.A.P.G. Centre, Anantapur. He obtained M. Phil and Ph.D degrees from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in
1981 and 1987 respectively. He entered the University service as Lecturer in 1979 and
promoted as Reader and Professor in 1987 and 1998 respectively in S.K University,
Anantapur. He published 15 articles in various journals. Till now he has successfully
supervised 7 Ph.Ds and 8 M.Phils. Prof. Raju attended and presented papers in 15
conferences/seminars/workshops. He completed one major Research Project sponsoredby
UGC and organized one Refresher Course for Commerce teachers. He worked as Head of
the Department and Chairman, BOS in Commerce. He served as a member of BOS in
Commerce of S.V. University, Tirupati and Bangalore University, Bangalore. He served the
University in different administrative capacities such as Professor in- Charge of UG Exams;
Director, College Development Council and Director, Directorate of Admissions. He was the
Camp Officer, S.K.U. Centre for ICET, LAWCET and Ed. CET admissions during 2007 and
2008. Presently he is the Chairman, BOS in Commerce. His aeas of Specialization: FINANCE
AND ACCOUTING.

Prof. K.V. Ramana Reddy did his M.Com, M.Phil, Ph.D, in S.K University and
entered as lecturer in 1987. He was promoted as Reader and Professor in 1998
and 2006 respectively. He has published 20 papers in reputed journals and
published one book. He also attended and presented paper in 15 seminars
including international. He guided two Ph.Ds and Five M.Phils. One UGC
sanctioned Major Research Project and another Major Project by UGC is in
progress. He acted as local consultant for the projects of CESS, Hyderabad (APDPIP,
APRPRP and Young lives Projects) for five years on payment. He has served as Head
of the Department, Joint Director for Director of Admission, S.K University, Anantapur
