Dr.Konduru Nagabhushan Raju has graduated
in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 andobtained Masters degree
in Energy Conservation and Management in 1989. His professional
career started with Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) where he was
actively involved in over 25 industrial energy efficiency projects
covering different industrial sectors. He has served as guest faculty to
the training centers of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Bharat
Electronics Limited. He also stood first among four selected candidates
from India for the Jawaharlal Nehru Centenary British Fellowship for
pursuing Ph.D. in Process Integration at University of Manchester
Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), U.K. He joined Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur as Technical Officer/ Assistant
Professor in the Department of Instrumentation in 1993 from where he
obtained his Doctorate in Instrumentation in 1999. He has taught a
wide variety of inter disciplinary subjects for the past 16 years and
published more than 20 research publications in national and
international journals apart from publishing a book and two book
chapters. Dr. Raju has completed Two Major Research Projects
sponsored by UGC and ISRO along with one UGC Minor Research
Project and presently carrying out another Major Research Project
sponsored by UGC. He has 13 seminar/symposia presentations to his
credit and has organized 6 national seminars/expos. So far he has
guided three candidates for Ph.D., one for M.Phil and guided a number
of M.Tech./B.Tech.,/ M.Sc. candidates for their internships/project
works. He has been a visiting faculty to Academic Staff Colleges and a
number of engineering colleges. Dr. Raju is a fellow of IETE and is a
Life member of National Environmental Science Academy (NESA) and
Instrument Society of India (ISI). He is the recipient of the Andhra
Pradesh Scientist Award 2009. He visited different Universities in USA
sponsored by the Rotary Foundation, Illinois, USA and also visited
Singapore and Malaysia. He is currently the Head of the Department of
Instrumentation & USIC since May 2008 and Coordinator, Department
of Electronics since August 2003. He is receipient of Andhra Pradesh
Scientist awared 2009 in the field of Engineering and Technology from
Government of Andhrapradesh.
