Prof.E. VIJAY KUMAR |

Prof.E. VIJAY KUMAR, Professor of Law has joined the Department of law during 1980.
He is from an ordinary agricultural family. He has done his L.L.M in Constitutional Law
and International Law from Sri Venkateswara University. He has obtained his Doctorate
degree on “Social Equality and Reality in India” from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
He has worked as Head of the Department of Law, Chairman for Board of Studies and
Dean Faculty of Law for more than two terms under each category. He has served as the
President of (S.K.U.T.A.) Sri Krishnadevaraya University Teachers Association. He was also
an elected member of Indian Law Institute and served as member of the Governing
Council of the Indian Law Institute.
He worked as Executive Committee Member of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, in
addition to member as Governing Council of the Indian Law Institute. He is a member of
the All India Law Teachers Association. As a senior law teacher, he served in various
committees of Sri Krishnadevaraya University. The University is availing his services as and
when there is any necessity and he is highly helpful and accessible for both students and
teaching community in the University.

Prof. SESHAIAH, has been teaching law in the Department of Law,
Sri Krishnadevaraya University, since, 1983. His specializations are Constitutional
Law, Human Rights and Law and Social Change. He did his Ph.D independently on
“The Role of the Supreme Court in Planned Development”. He has contributed
number of Research Papers and participated in National Seminars. He is actively
associated with Human Rights Movement in Andhra Pradesh and filed Public Interest
Litigation on behalf of the victims of Human Rights violations. He served as Head,
Chairman BOS and Dean, faculty of Law. Now, he is the Coordinator for P.G. Diploma
in Human Rights Education and values and the Centre for Rayalaseema Development
Studies (CRDS) also he is associated with International Committee of the Red Cross
(ICRC) New Delhi. He is the editor for the Human Rights Magazine “FREEDOM” in
Telugu and contributes regularly. He is associated with the Human Rights Programme
at University of Hyderabad and other State Universities.

Prof. BHAGATH KUMAR, Professor & Dean, Faculty of Law, has been working in
the S.K.University, Anantapur since 1984. He started his career as Lecturer in Law
and served as Associated Professor in Tax Laws at University of Pune during 1990-
1994, and became Professor of Law at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur
in 1998. He teaches Tax Laws, IPR and Criminology. He published 27 research
papers in the area of Tax Laws, Labour Laws both in National and International
Conferences. He guided seven Ph.Ds in Law in the area of Constitutional Law, Tax
Laws and Labour Laws. At present there are 10 research students working for Ph.
D under his guidance. His current areas of research interest include Law, Science
and Technology. “Rights of Surrogate Mother; “Copy Right in Digital Media” and
“Internet frauds” are topics presently being pursued by his research students in this
direction. He is edited a book entitled: “Legislative Principles and Judicial
Processes”. He also undertaken several research projects in the area of Tax Laws
and associated as an expert member with the bodies like Institute of Company
Secretaries, New Delhi and Taxman group of Publications. He served in several
administrative capacities in the University system, which includes: Programme
Officer, NSS, SK University, Anantapur (1989-1990); Head & Chairman BOS in
Law, SK University, Anantapur; Convener, Legal Cell, SK University, Anantapur
(2003-2007); Member, District Legal Service Authority, Anantapur (1993-2002);
Officer-on-Special Duty, Vice Chancellor’s Office, S.K.University, Anantapur
(2004-2005); Dean, College Development Council, S.K.University, Anantapur
(2005-2007); and Joint Secretary (Gurukulam), Tribal Welfare Department,
Government of A.P. (2007-2008).
