Linguist, Critic, Triballorist and Essayist. Education: S.V.University and Osmania Universities. Gold
medals with 1st Rank in both P.G. Degrees. Professor of Telugu, Sri Krishnadevaraya University.
Dean of Languages (2005-08). Publications: Vyanjana Sutramu (1981 Research) and other 16
books and 300 papers of critical and research value. A.P.Sahitya Akademi awards for Telugu
Sahitya Vimarsa Paschatya Prabhavam (1987), Sista sahityamu Janpada dhoranulu (1989), two
pubilications by Central Sahitya Academy, G.V. Rama Murthi (1991), Telugu Janapada katha
sankalanam (1998), Tr.of Prof. Enoch’s Adhunika Sahitya Vimarsa Sutram as ‘Principle of Modern
Literary Criticism (2000) etc. Around 300 Research Papers and popular articles in English, Kannada
Hindhi and Telugu. Conducted a major UGC Project on Gor Boli in India, and 2 books on Teaching
and Research Methods in Telugu (published by Telugu Academy (1997)). Andhra Pradesh
Government Best Teacher Award (1995), Tangilala Sahitya Peetham Award for best oration (2002),
Anantha Lakshmi Kantha Award (2005) , Neti Lakshmi Narayana Sarma Bhagavatulu Award for
Hariktha Tradtion (2007) etc. Produced 23 Ph.Ds and 17 M.Phils. Secretary, Dharma Prachara

He is specialist in Grammar & Prosody literature, (Traditional and Modern) critic and poet.
Education: M.A., (Telugu) S.V.U.P.G.Centre (1972), Ph.D., (S.V.U.P.G.Centre 1978). Professor
of Telugu, Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Former Registrar of Sri Krishnadevaraya University.
Dean Faculty of Languages (2008-). Publications: A Descriptine analysis of Srinatha’s Usage
(Publication No.43, Dravidian Liguistic Association, Trivandrum 1988). Produced 20 M.Phils
and 16 Ph.Ds. Anthology of Poetry ( Swedasruvulu – December,2004). Edited Lessons for
the Distance Education Programme for M.A. Telugu of S.K.University (2005) and wrote lesson
to Mysore and Bangalore Universities and also to the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.
Government, Hyderabad (2004) and Maharashtra.. Published around 100 research papers
and 40 poems in different literary journals. Conducted two projects on Couplet words in
Telugu, Kannada and Tamil – felicitated by the Official Language Commission of A.P. State
Government (2005). Worked as Co-investigating Officer along with Prof H.S.

Anantapur (1977-84). Served as Professor and Head of the Dept. of Telugu, S.K.U.
P.G.Centre, Kurnool for ten years i.e.1998-2008. Served as Special Officer, S.K.U.P.
G.Centre, Kurnool for two years 2002-04. Served as BOS Chairman in Telugu for
three years (2005-08). Served as Head of the Dept. of Chemistry, S.K.U.P.G.Cetre,
Kurnool for 6 months as Special Officer. Published two anthologies of poems in
Telugu 1. Ragakinkini, 2. Jwalahasanthi. Participated and presented 50 papers in
National Seminars. Bhasha Puraskar Award, by the Official Language Commission.

(2008). Published Childrens’ songs in Telugu (1982), children’s literature in Telugu
(1988). Folk medical Practices in Telugu Country (1998). Edited many collections of
children’s songs in Telugu. Publication: two anthologies of short stories – Mulladova
and Mantalaodi Authored over 60 research papers and 60 popular articles on Feminist
literature and folk and tribal lore. Edited and wrote lesson for Intermediate Board of
Education in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. Jati Ratnalu - Nondetailed text for 9
Class Students A.P. Conducted a major project (UGC) on Rural and Tribal medical
practices in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Awards: Tangirala Sahitya
